I saw him at the Bridge School Concert last year...it was heartbreaking to see how mentally...off....he was. Al Jardine and a group of others I didn't recognize were there and did a great job of replicating the Beach Boys sound, though. Brian does sound good here, however...

That's sad to hear. Vocally he seems hit or miss in some of the live performances I've seen. This one does sound good and I plan on picking up the album tomorrow.
